SHIPPING /STORAGE CONTAINERS

Definition:

A shipping container is generally built in South East Asia to an internationally recognised standard to conform to ISO standards for shipping goods internationally. The robust construction makes these particularly suitable for storage and they can be stacked loaded eight high. Constructed using Corten steel which has superior corrosion resistance compared to regular steel, ensuring a long service life.

Applications:

Shipping containers are strong, durable and secure and require little or no maintenance. Theft proof, weatherproof, stackable and highly portable they are ideal for building sites and factory yards or for general storage, car storage, books, documents, furniture, equestrian tack, foodstuffs, refrigeration and much more.

Specifications and Optional Extras:

Purposes built these units are constructed using 3.0mm thick steel incorporating features that protect materials during transit. With heavy-duty steel doors incorporating door seals, locking bars and cams fitted as standard.
Forklift pockets available as an optional item.

CSC-plated for a maximum gross weight of 30 tonnes using Corten (anti-corrosive) steel sheet, with either a hardwood or plywood floor.

Lock box protectors can be fitted to improve security

Electrical packages can be added including, heating, lighting, power points and fused spurs all wired back to a mains consumer unit complete with RCD andMCB’s.
